NID (National Institute of Design) is a one of kind design institute following the Bauhaus principles of design and one of the first to bring this kind of design education to India. This institute opens its admissions once a year, and of course, you guessed it, there are a limited number of seats for the large amount of people that apply.

That’s why preparations start early on. But you need to know exactly how much treasure is in the gold mine and how much you’ll get before you start digging for it, right? Yep, we get you. We’ll be telling you the number seats offered under each discipline for the master’s programs in the NIDs.

Another few things you should keep in mind are that you can apply to a maximum of only 2 disciplines. According to your preference and availability and obviously how you perform in the exam, you will be allotted a seat. And, you aren't allowed to change your preferences later, so fill them in carefully.
