When does NIFT release its admission forms?

NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology) releases its admission forms once a year for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The admission process has a few tentative dates of when the forms are released, when the admit cards are released, what are the last dates of online registration etc. And, we’ve done all the digging for you.

Let’s go! So, the NIFT forms are usually released around the first week of November and the last date for registration is around the end of December. For all the people who tend to sleep off, they’ve got to shed some money and can submit the form latest by the first week of January with Rs. 5000/- late fees. 

 The admit card is sent around the third week of January. The NIFT GAT and CAT happen in the first week of February. This is the exam that carries the most weightage. To know more about the test weightages, read our other blogs. The answer key comes out in the second week of February. The NIFT Situation Test, the one where you get to make models and stuff. Yep, that. It happens in April. Tentatively. I am sure you would have caught on to the tentative part by now. That’s for everything, it’s just how things work.

So, moving on. After you’re done with all the exams and the hard work. It’s time for the results. The most awaited part of the entire admission process is released in May and the final allotment is done by June. 

All this is mentioned in the NIFT Admission Guidelines pdf. It’s according to the latest 2023 version. (But it usually remains the same, unless something like the COVID 19 happens). The above information is all tentative. I know, I know, have said that a million times. But what can we do.
